We are pleased to share an update from Pilot 1 in Crete, where the Ebia F1 tomato variety is cultivated under a modern, science-based management plan.
So far, the crop has shown very positive progress:
Strong root establishment supported by targeted nutrition
Healthy growth and smooth transition into flowering
First fruits are already forming, with excellent fruit set
Preventive protection applied against key tomato pests and diseases
The crop is now in the fruit-setting stage and moving steadily toward harvest.
Pilot 1 demonstrates how innovative cultivation practices can strengthen resilience, optimize production, and support CSSBoost’s mission of advancing sustainable tomato farming across Europe.
